Visit to Crossing Vineyards and Winery

A big thank you to Randi Martin of Always Fabulous Events for organizing this wonderful event!
This is the first time I visited Pennsylvanian winery/vineyard and I have to admit that I was surprised (in a good way, of course).

Crossings Vineyards and Winery is located near the Washington Crossings Historical Park, Bucks County.
The moment I arrived, the first impression that I had was how cute, sweet and romantic the place is.
They have an outdoor sitting/dining area in between the "house" and the vineyards: Perfect for an English tea party or a romantic, intimate wedding! ^_^ The other thing that I really appreciate from them is how professional and nice the staff are! They really know how to make people feel comfortable and they're also very helpful. I highly suggest that you would at least consider paying a site visit when you're planning a wedding. If say you find them a bit too small for the reception, you can always throw your rehearsal dinner here! :) That would be awesome, too!

Okay...so let's talk about our main event. We attended the "Wine for Dummies" course and it was really fun (when there's wine, how can it not be fun, seriously?! Hehehe...). Tom Carroll, the owner, lead the class with full spirit, good humor, and wonderful knowledge.
We tasted 12 of their wine collection and though I did not favor a lot of them, I did like 2 of them: Chambourcin (2003, Red) and Viognier (2006, White). I'm by no means a wine-snob, but I do have a brand loyalty-type personality and it is difficult to forget my "first wine love", which is King Estate Oregon.  ^_^ This class is just one of an array of wonderful events that this winery offers throughout the year. Do check it out! It's definitely worth your time. ^_^

Before I bid you adieu...here are a few pictures from my site visit to the vineyards. Enjoy and till next time...!

Just having a little fun...

I made these two for my birthday cuz my sister-in-law joined us for dinner and I thought it would be fun to have some flowers on the table. :)

Enjoy!

I photoshop-ed the ones on the left and loved the turnout so I decided to put this version along side the "normal" shots.

Ah yes...brings back memories alright! ^_^ This was indeed a valuable experience and I met Kate Lehigh, a talented and fun photographer.

Anyway...I will put more comments later on. Meanwhile...enjoy the pictures!
